Who we are

DentalFLUX is an innovative Brussels based association dedicated to providing mobile dental care to people in precarious situations. Our primary mission is to offer essential care to the most disadvantaged and to refer them to a network of contracted dentists for appropriate follow-up.

To achieve this goal, we have developed a fully equipped mobile dental clinic that allows our teams of volunteer dentists to travel directly to vulnerable populations. This mobile approach aims to overcome the social, financial, and geographic barriers that hinder access to dental care.

We work closely with local partners such as DoucheFLUX, Goujonissimo, Resto du cœur, the CPAS of Saint Gilles, Forest, and Anderlecht, reinforcing our commitment to Brussels’ most vulnerable communities.

Our goals

Establish a mobile dental consultation adapted to a vulnerable population.

Identify the existing network of contracted care providers, promote and strengthen it to facilitate the reintegration of patients into the existing healthcare system.

Reinforce access to information and prevention through the use and design of adapted tools, the organization of screenings, and the implementation of collective actions.

Develop partnerships, especially with university dentistry departments, dental hygiene schools, and higher education institutions in the social and health sectors.

Advocate for access to dental care for anyone in a precarious situations.

How does it work?

We travel with our fully equipped mobile dental clinic to provide quality care in locations identified in collaboration with our local partners. Each intervention is organized together with field actors to ensure that beneficiaries receive effective and appropriate care.
